MAURA KELLER WINS THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR GA’S 3RD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

--

Fayetteville, GA - Last night, Maura Keller was announced as the winner of the Democratic Primary and received the nomination for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District. Keller drew in 13, 225 votes, receiving 53% of the vote share and guaranteeing that there will not be a runoff for this race on the Democratic side.

After investing in both rural and urban areas, Keller received the majority of votes from 12 of the 15 counties in District 3. She expressed her gratitude to the county parties and committed volunteers she had the pleasure of meeting on the campaign trail, and she looks forward to working closely with everyone as we head towards the General Election in November.

“I’m truly excited about what this victory means for the future of District 3. The tides are changing here in Georgia, and races like mine will play an instrumental role in shaping the trajectory of both our district and our great state. A few months ago, everyone I spoke to in all corners of the district believed that this seat was unwinnable. Today, those same people are showing up hopeful, energized, and ready to put in the work to win District 3.”

On the Republican side, Brian Jack and Mike Dugan will now enter a runoff for the nomination on June 18th, 2024. Jack, a Trump endorsed candidate, received 46.7% of the vote, while Dugan had 24.9%.
