ECONOMIC EQUITY
Maura believes every hardworking American deserves a fair shot at a good life. That starts with a minimum wage that covers the basics, not one stuck at $7.25 since 2009. While past representatives have blocked wage increases, keeping families struggling, Maura will fight for a living wage so everyone in District 3—Republican, Democrat, or Independent—can thrive, not just scrape by. Strong workers build strong communities.
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE
Maura fights for every woman’s right to make her own healthcare choices. Too many lack OB-GYN care, endangering pregnancies and lives, especially for Black women facing higher mortality risks. Past leaders’ restrictive policies have worsened shortages and infant deaths. Maura will champion accessible, equitable healthcare to ensure safe pregnancies and healthy families. Without action, women and babies face preventable tragedies. Maura’s commitment is clear: protect lives, secure futures.
ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE
Maura believes everyone deserves affordable healthcare. No one should have to choose between buying groceries or paying for lifesaving care. Accessible healthcare, especially in our rural communities, keeps families healthy, prevents avoidable illnesses, and strengthens our economy by keeping workers strong and businesses thriving. Maura will fight for a system that puts people first, ensuring everyone has the care they need to live and prosper.
VETERAN ADVOCACY
Maura, a veteran and former VA healthcare worker, believes those who served deserve real support, not empty promises. Too many in District 3’s rural communities see leaders vote against better access to VA care, housing, and food security. Maura will fight for better access to VA care through telehealth and local clinics, ensuring every veteran gets the benefits and respect they’ve earned, so no one who served is left behind.
AGING WITH DIGNITY
Maura stands firmly with our seniors, fighting for their dignity and security. Soaring costs force too many to choose between medicine and food, risking poverty and poor health. Past leaders’ inaction has left seniors vulnerable. Maura will demand stronger Social Security payments that keep pace with inflation to prevent hardship and ensure every senior lives a healthy, fulfilling life. We must act now to secure their future, or our seniors will lose the respect they deserve.
LGBTQ+ and Equality for All
Maura offers unwavering support for all and believes that every citizen should have access to the American dream, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, or skin color. She recognizes how harmful discriminatory policies can be at the local, state, and federal levels, and promises to never vote against those who need representation. Maura will fight to enshrine legal protections for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC Americans, and will push back against politicians who seek to strip away the human rights of these communities.
IMMIGRATION REFORM
Maura believes we need immigration policies that work for everyone. Decades of broken laws have left our borders unsecured and legal immigrants waiting years for citizenship due to red tape and high costs. Maura will push for stronger enforcement to stop illegal immigration while streamlining legal pathways for hardworking families. By fixing the system, we protect our communities, ensure children’s safety, and build a fair, secure future for all.
ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE
Maura stands for a cleaner, healthier District 3, where our families, children, and jobs are protected from climate challenges. Storms, floods, and heat threaten our homes, farms, and businesses. Past leaders have overlooked these risks, leaving communities vulnerable. Maura will fight for practical solutions—like stronger infrastructure and local job creation—to safeguard our environment, ensure food security, and build a thriving future for every Georgian in District 3.
GUN SAFETY
Maura, a veteran who respects the Second Amendment, believes in protecting gun rights while ensuring safety for our communities and children. She supports practical measures like stronger background checks, safety training, and secure storage to keep guns out of the wrong hands. Past leaders have ignored these common-sense steps, risking lives. Maura will fight for responsible gun ownership, balancing our rights with the safety of our families, children, and law enforcement.
