Carrollton, GA–Maura Keller, Democratic nominee for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District, has been announced as a guest speaker at Rally for Our Rights. This event will mark two years since the Dobbs decision, and will center on healthcare and reproductive rights. Rally for Our Rights will take place on Monday, June 24th from 6pm-7:30pm and will be located at the MLK Monument in Carrollton, Georgia, next to the Carroll County Courthouse.

Keller, a passionate advocate for reproductive freedom, said “Two difficult years have passed since the Dobbs decision, and that is why healthcare is the cornerstone of my campaign. Georgia is facing a growing crisis when it comes to maternal/infant mortality, and to reproductive healthcare as a whole. In 2024, every vote is integral to addressing these issues.” We will also hear from Planned Parenthood’s Policy Director, as well as local candidates and healthcare professionals. The conversation will focus on women’s healthcare and attacks on women’s rights, civil rights, and human rights. 

“Two years since the Dobbs decision has proven dangerous and sometimes deadly for Georgia women,” said Katherine Spillar, executive director of Feminist Majority, a national organization working for women’s equality, “Maura Keller will be a dedicated fighter in Congress for women to make their own healthcare decisions without government interference, including about contraception, IVF, and other reproductive healthcare matters. The Feminist Majority PAC strongly supports Maura Keller in her campaign for Congress. This could not be a more critical time for all those who support women’s equality to get involved.”
