Press Release: Maura Keller Becomes the First Democratic Candidate in District 3 to Ever Raise $100k Before the Primary Election
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 1, 2026
FAYETTEVILLE, GA — Congressional candidate Maura Keller has officially become the first Democrat to raise $100k before the Primary in the history of her District. In 2024, Keller’s campaign broke the fundraising record for Democrats in District 3, raising $121,683. Now, her campaign has made history once again.
“I’m so excited to announce that our grassroots campaign has reached this incredible milestone,” Keller said. “To raise this amount of money ahead of the Primary, it shows that voters believe in our message and that they are ready for change.”
“To push back against Congressman Brian Jack and the MAGA agenda, we need a warchest that really allows us to compete,” Keller continued. “Reaching our goal of $100k shows Jack that we’re serious, and signals to Republican voters that they can trust in our movement.”
Maura Keller is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who served 26 years in the United States Army, and a former healthcare worker at the Atlanta VA hospital. She is also a wife, mother of four, and owner of several rescue dogs. Keller’s frustration with the lack of support for veterans drove her to run for Congress, and her platform is focused on veteran benefits, affordability, healthcare, and rural investment.
