FAYETTEVILLE, GA — Maura Keller continues to break records in her campaign for Congress in Georgia's 3rd District, crossing $200,000 raised two months before Election Day. She becomes the first ever Democratic candidate in this District to reach this milestone, continuing her historic year as a trailblazer in West Georgia politics. Keller aims to shock her well-funded opponent Brian Jack as early voting approaches, relying on her decades of public service in the Army and VA to frame her campaign as an honest answer to corrupt policy
“When you look around the country this year, people are tired of establishment politicians taking money from special interests to vote against their own interests,” Keller said, “In my district, we have so many new Data Center projects popping up and even more money being thrown around. And in Washington, the only thing this Congress was able to accomplish was tax breaks for the rich and the single biggest cut to healthcare in American history. What we really needed was a cut to harmful tariffs that drive up prices and hurt farmers.”
In recent weeks, concerned citizens have published op-eds in local newspapers highlighting Jack’s contributions from executives linked to major hyperscale Data Center projects. These links include ties to QTS, which runs a controversial Data Center in Fayetteville, and Project Sail, which is a recently approved Coweta County mega-project that defeated an extensive petition drive. As an ally of local Data Center activists, Keller runs on a platform of responsible development and temporary pauses to new proposals as the public learns more information.
Keller continues her campaign with a Reddit AMA on Friday, September 4th, and a major rally with Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms in Milner, GA, on September 12th. Please contact us to learn more about either event.
